A new special edition model is set for the IS
On August 25, 2022, Lexus made some improvements to the IS, set up a special edition car “F SPORT Mode Black III”, and started selling it through Lexus stores nationwide.
As part of the improvements, the color of the center cluster plating has been changed to dark silver to tighten the entire interior and strengthen the sporty image.
In addition, cup holder lighting has been added to the overhead console for improved visibility. In addition, 19-inch aluminum wheels (black sputtering paint) for the special edition “F SPORT Mode Glitter” released in September 2021 have been set as a manufacturer option.
Lottery acceptance for V8-equipped limited vehicles also started
Also, from the same day, lottery sales of the “F SPORT Performance First Edition”, a limited edition of 500 units of the high performance model “IS500” equipped with a V-type 8-cylinder engine in the IS, will also start.

Special car specifications
The special edition “F SPORT Mode Black III” is the third version of the previously sold “F SPORT Mode Black”.
This time, based on the IS350/IS300h/IS300 “F SPORT”, the color coordination is based on black, such as exclusive forged aluminum wheels and seats, and exclusive bi-tone color black and titanium carbide gray.
In the interior, a specially designed steering wheel and ornament panel with a silver-black ash finish were adopted.
